If you are thinking about buying gold, my advice is don't.

Free players getthe same exact sailors as premium with the exception that if you pay for a premium sailor, you get another 30 skill points to use in any other skill. The problem is the sailors have NO EXTRA EFFECT on the ship. I have 2 premium sailors with 100 accuracy each. My ships sucks at accuracy. Having premium sailors on it means nothing. It was just a big waste of money.

Also you can buy armor without gold. You can do everything for free that someone who pays for gold can do. The ONLY item that is worth buying for gold is the 100,000 credits. Anyone who plays the game will tell you that making credits is easier to get then earning experience.

One other piece of advice. If you are planning on playing this game, choose either the UK line, German line or Japanese line. The reason is because the US line of ships is so under powered and nerfed that you will take 2 to 3 times longer to get better ships.

I played with the US line of BB. My BBs are slower then any other nation's ships, my BBs have a greater turning radius then any other nation's ships, my BBs reload in twice the time as any other nation's ships, my BBs accuracy is 1/10th the accuracy of any other nation's ships, and most of all, any other nation's DD line can easily sink any US BB. They out manuver the rate at which our cannons can turn and can easily sink a BB just using torps with OnContact hitting. Every aspect of the US Line of ships is nerfed beyond comparison.

Also, my US player has a 33% win ratio. Every other captain my account has with the other nations has a win ratio of at least 49%.

So If You are considering using the US line don't. And if you are thinking about buying gold, unless you are going to buy the credit sack, nothing else you buy in the item mall makes any difference to whatever ship you are using. It isn't the sailors that help the ship, the ships base stats are the only thing the server looks at.

I am not paying for any more gold nor am I supporting this game anymore until they either under power all the other nations or bring the power of the US line up to the other nations. I have put in a support ticket about this time and time again, they have never fixed it. This last support ticket is demanding that they transfer my captain and premium sailors to one of the other nations. If they do not do this, they will never get another cent from me. I have also warned them that I will post this opinion on every other gaming website that talks about this game, including Steam when they release it there unless they either fix this or transfer my captain.

All my money has done is become a waste. If I knew then what I know now, I would NEVER have spent a cent on this game nor gone with the US line.
